A BY-LAW OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TUNITSHIP OF PICKERING TO NAME A
FIRE CHIEF FOR FIRE AREA NUMBER 1.
WHEREAS on June 20, 1950, Council passed By-Law Number 1823, providing
for a Fire Area in Lots 21? to 35, inclusive, from Lake Ontario to half-
way between Concession 3 and 4, except that portion of Frenchman's Bay
that lies in Lot 24;
AND WHEREAS a Fire Hall and Fire Equipment have now been purchased, and
the Committee has recommended a Fire Chief:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE, MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
PICKERING THAT
(1) Fred Benham be and he is hereby appointed Fire Chief for Fire
Area No. 1.
(2) That he shall commence his duties immediately on the passing of

(3) That there shall be no monetary remuneration in connection with
the said office.
By-Law read a First and Second time the g/O Gzday of 1952•
By-Law read a Third time and passed this ?moo day of 1952.
