of the Municipality of the TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING, to levy a
certain tax rate on POLICE AREA NO. 1.
WHEREAS By-law No. 1853 provided that the part of the Municipality
which lies south of the Third Concession line shall be a Police
Area and responsible for the raising of the yearly requisition
for police costs within the said Area:

AND WHEREAS the Police Corrwi-Ba-#es has submitted a requisition
for $ to cover the costs of the Police Department in
the said Area:
AND WHEREAS the assessment of the said Area, on which the 1951
rates are to be levied, is $4,173,963828:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Pickering:-
That there be raised, levied and collected from and upon all the
rateable property in POLICE AREA NO.1, in the year 1951, the rate
or sum of 73.6 Mills on the Dollar, amounting to the sum of

Department in the said Area.
