of the Municipality of the Township of Pickering, to increase the
levy for the Federation of Agriculture.
WHEREAS at a recent meeting of Council a resolution was passed
increasing the levy for the Federation of Agriculture from .2 Mills
to .5 Mills on all persons in the Township assessed as Farmers.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Pickering :-
1. That commencing in the year 1952, a levy of one-half of one
Mill be made upon the ratepayers of the Township who are
entered on the Assessment Roll as "farmers", as the annual
membership fees of such persons in the Federation of
Agriculture.
it, 2. That By-Law No. 1717 be and the same is hereby repealed.
