of the Township of Pickering to increase the salaries of certain
Officials:
WHEREAS at a recent meeting of Council a resolution was passed
increasing the salary of the Caretaker:
AND WHEREAS at a recent meeting of the Board of Health certain
recommendations were made regarding an increase of salary for the
Medical Officer of Health, the Public Health Nurse and the Sanitary
Inspector:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering:-
41. That the yearly salary of W. H. ELLICOTT, as Caretaker, be
increased from $850.00 to $1,100.00 as of January 1st, 1951,
payable monthly.
That the yearly salary of Dr. N.F.TOMLINSON, as Medical Officer
of Health, be increased from 1,000.00 to $ -as of January
1st, 1951, without car allowance, payable quarterly.
That the yearly salary of Miss Winnifred M. WALKER, as Public
Health Nurse, be increased from $2,)4.00.00 to $ '2,( QQ,as of
January 1st, 1951,plus eight cents (8?) per mile for her car
necessarily used on Township business, payable monthly.
That the yearly salary of Dr. P.J.W.LOOS, as Sanitary Inspector,
be increased from $400.00 to $` 01?rt. without car allowance,
as of January 1st, 1951, payable quarterly.
That all By-laws contrary to or inconsistent with this By-law
be and they are hereby repealed.
