of the Township of Pick-ring, to increase the remuneration of
the Reeve.
WHEREAS at a recent meeting of Council, a resolution was passed
increasing the salary of the Reeve, and a subsequent By-Law was
not acceptable to the Department of Municipal Affairs;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTF.n by the Municipal !tounci.l of the Township
of Pickering :-
1. That the remuneration of the Reeve, commencing
January 1st, 1951, shall be $500.00 (Five Hundred
Dollars) per year, payable in DeW ember of each
pp, -r
year, but that shall be deducted from
the said remuneration for each meeting of Council
from which the Reeve is absent.
2. That BY-LAIN NUMBER 1851, pertaining to the remuneration
of the Reeve,be and it is herebv repealed.
BY-LAIN read a First and Second time this day

BY-LAW read a THIRD time and PASSED this / s'-"e- day
of 1951.
