of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, to assess the
costs of placing Calcium Chloride upon certain Township Roads,
on the current Tax Rolls.
WHEREAS over sixty-six percent (66%) of Owners of properties in
parts of Plans No. 350 and 283 have petitioned Council to place
Calcium Chloride on the Township road fronting their properties,
and that the cost of same be levied yearly on the Tax Rolls:
AND WHEREAS the Council view with favor the granting of such
petition;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Pickering:-
1. That the Road Superintendent yearly place Calcium
Chloride on that portion of Pine Ridge Road south of the
end of the pavement on Rouge Mount Drive, continuing east
along West Point Crescent to Dyson Road and south on
Dyson Road to and including the property owned by Mr.
A. W. Cane (opposite Lots No. 20 to 30, 45 to 61, 79 to 103
in Plan 283 and Lots 46 to 51 and 97 to 104 in Plan 350).
2. That the cost of such Calcium Chloride shall be
levied against each of the owners who have dwellings
thereon, on the current Tax Roll.
3. That Schedule "A", attached hereto, shall be a
part of this By-law.
