To appoint an A'3SE33OR for the TOWNSHIP OF PICKERIN:r.
WHEREAS Assessor James M. Blackwell has resigned as Assessor
AND WHEREAS applications have been asked for and annlicants
interviewed by this Council:
BE IT T77REFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Corporation of the TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING that :
1. EDWARD JON7S be and he is hereby appointed ASSESSOR
of the Township of Pickering.
2. That th e Salary of the said Assessor shall be at the
rate of '1,900, per year, payable monthly, coinmencing
January 9th, 1950.
3. That for the use of his car while on Township business

1 That the said Assessor shall assess in accordance with
the Assessment Act and all amendments thereto, under the
direction of the County of Ontario Assessor.
/H'" 5. That all By-laws contrary or inconsistent with this
