Of the Corporation of the Tovmship of Picketing,
to employ a Public Health Nurse.
WHEREAS Mrs. J. R. Rhoten has resigned as
Public Health Nurse of Picketing Township:
AND WHEREAS applications were called for and
the only applicant was Miss Winnifred Walker, who
stated that she was prepared to take the position at
a salary of $2,400. (Two thousand and Four Hundred
Dollars) per year, plus an allowance of $54.16 per
month for the use of her car, and have one month
holidays:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
1.
That Miss Winnifred Walker be appointed Public
Health Nurse for Plckering Township at a salary
of $2,400. per year, plus car allowance of
$5~.16 (Fifty Four Dollars and Sixteen Cents)
per month for the use of her car for a twelve-
month period, such car allowance to be
discontinued after one month's absence due to
sickness.
That the holiday period for the said Nurse
shall be one month.
That there shall be sick leave of one-and-one-half
days per month cumulative for said Nurse.
