BY-LAW Eumber 1739
Of the Municipality of the £ownship of Picketing covering
certain increases of salaries to employees.
WHEREAS at recent meetings of Council certain increases were
made to the salaries end allowances of certain employees by motion
and agreement.
AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to confirm s-~id increases
by By-law.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Town-
ship of Picketing:
(1) That the yearly salary of Lloyd Johnston as Clerk-Treasurer
be increased ~O00.00 from ~2200.00 to $2~00.00.
(a) That the yearly salary of mrs. E. Robertson be increased
,~180.00 from ~820.00 to ~1000.00.
the yearly salary of Roy Ward as ~oad Superintendent be
~300.00 from ~1800o00 to ~2100o00.
~he yearly salary ~f ~:rs. J. ~hoten as Pdblic Health Nurse
be increased ~30u.O0 from ~l~00.0u to ~210~..00, end allowance for
use of her car on ro?mshio business b,~ increased ,~90.00 from ~560.00
to ~650.00.
~d) ~hst the yearly salary of AdAm Spears as ohief Assessor be
increased ,~300.00 from $1500.00 to ~1800.00.
(e) That the yearly salary of James Bleckwell as Assessor be increase
~300.00 from ~1500.00 to ,,~1800.00, And allowance for use of his car
on Township business i~creesed from .(6¢ to .07~~ per ~ile.
~f) That the yearly salary of the caretaker be increased 60.00
from .,~300.00 to ~360o00.
(g) That the yearly salary of John irvine es ~hief uom~tAble be
increased ~200.00 from ~2050.00 to ~2250.00, and allowance for the
use of his car on ~'ownship business increased from .07¢ to ?~¢ per mile.
(h) ~hat the yearly salary of ~'red ,~hite es Constable be increased
~200.00 from ~1700.00 to ,,;1900.00, and that on April 1st next
further increase of ,~100.00, as he will then h~ve completed e year
as a permanents.constable.
~j That said increases o~ salaries ~n.~ ~llow~nces sh~ll be dated as of
~ anu~ry 1,
(3) fhst ell ~y-laws contrary to or inconsistent with this ny-law be
and they are hereby repealed.
