By-law to levy a special rate on the taxable property in the
Police Village of Plckering, to defray the
other speolal purposes in the said Village,

'~GtEREAS the Trustees of the Police Villsge of Picketing hawe
made request for the lewy of a special rate of 4.1 mills on the
dollar upon ell the rateable property in.the said Village to defray
the cost of maintaining street lights and meet the cost of other
sundry village requirements during the year 1947.
AND WHEREAS the totel taxable property in the
is the sum of $190,573.70:
SE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the ~unicip~l Council of the
Township of Picketing:
THAT there be raised, levied ~nd collected from and upon all
reteable property in the ~olice Village of Pickering, in the year
1947, the rete or sum of 4~1 mills on the dollar,
