';,1~EREAS the Trustees of the Police Vlllag~ of Clsremont
have made request for the levy of s spsci~l rate of .~.~,;.%. mills
on the dollar upon all the rateable property in the s~ld Village
to defray the costs of maintaining street ll.~hts an4 meet the
cost of other sund~ village requirements during the year 1946.
AND WHEREAS the total taxable property in the said Police
Village is the
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Corporation of the Township of Picketing:
T~st there be raised, levied end collected from and upon
all the r~teable property in the Police Village of Claremont, in
the y~ar 1946 the ~ate or sum of .~;~...v~ mills on the dollar
amounting to the sum of ~ .~.' .... ..... for the aforestAd
purposes of the said Police Village of Clsremont in the said year.
PASSED this 22~ day of July, 1946.

By-law to levy a special rate on the taxable property, in
the Police Village of Cl~remont, to ~efray the cost of street
lights and other special purposes in the maid village, in the
year 1946.
WHEREAS the Trustees of the Police Village of Clsremont
have made request for the levy of s special rate of .~.'~..~. mills
on the dollar upon all the rateable property in the said Village
to defray the costs of maintaining street lights end meet the
cost of other sundry village requirements during the year 1946.
AND WHEREAS the total taxable property in the said Police
Village is the sum of $127,150.66.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Corporation of the Township of Picketing:
That there be raised, levied and collected from and upon
all the ratesble property in the Police Village of Clsremont, in
the year 1945 the rate or sum of z~..~.$., mills on the dollar
amounting to the sum of $..............~O/°'~/' ... for the afores&~d
purposes of the maid Police Village of Clsremont in the maid year.
PASSED this 2nd day of July, 1946.
