WHE~S The Highway Improvement Act, Chapter 56, R.S.0.', 1937 and amendments
· requires that the total expenditure on township roads and bridges be provided for
annually by township by-law.
THEREFOR the copncil of the corporation of the said township enacts as
follows:
~J'(1) The sum of $C~,~'O is hereby appropriated from monies raised by levy,
debentures and government subsidy for total expenditure upon construction and main-
tenance of the roads in the eeid township during the year 19~ as followe~
Road Construction
· Bridge Construction
Machinery
'Superintendence
Maintenance & Repair
Total Estimated Expenditure
~2) The said monies shall be expended under the direction of the duly appointed
~township road superihtendent and on work performed in scoordance with the Highway
I~provement Act.
(3) The clerk shall transmit a copy of this by-lawto the Municipal Roads Branch,
,~. ~epar~ment of Highways, for approval on or before February 28th of the present year.
