By-law to appoint Valuers of sheep and other live stock
worried by dogs, in the Township of Picketing, in the year 1946.
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:-
1. That ~.'..~,.. ~.~~. ...... , be and he is hereby
appointed Valuer of sheep and other live stock worried by dogs
in that portion of the Township of Pickering which extends from
Lake Ontario to the sixth concession line of the said Township,
during the year 1946.
2. That ..... , be and he is hereby
appointed Valuer of sheep and other live stock worried by dogs,
in that portion of the Township of Picketing which extends from
the sixth concession line to the northern town line, during the
year 1946.
3. The the said Valuers of sheep and other live stock
shall continue to act as such after the expiration of the year
1946 until their successors shall have been appointed in the
year 1947.
4. That the remuneration for the said Valuers of sheep and
other live stock shall ba as follows:
(a) For making each inspection of one or more
animals, together with making report, as to same,
(b) ..~.. cents per m~le,
in making such inspection.
