for the offices of Reeve, Deputy-Reeve and three cuonclllors for the
Municipality of the Township~ ~-~.~.; ~ ~ 1~, for the
year 1946. To appoint ~he places for holding the election thereof
and persons to preside thereat as Deputy Returning 0fficer~ and Poll
Clerks.
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering ENACTS as Follows:
1. THAT the place for receiving nominations for the offices of
Reeve, Deputy-Reeve and thre~ Councillors for the Municipality of the
Township of Pic~ering, for the year 1946, shall be in the Township
Hall, at the Village of Brougham, end at that hour during which
such nominations may be received shall co~ence at the hour of one
o'clock in the afternoon of the 31st day of December, 194§, end not
at the hour of noon on that day.
2. The places for holding the poll for the election to the sai~
offices for the said year and taking the votes of the electors of
the said Municipality for the said year 1946 shall be as follows,
that is to say:
In Polling Sub-division No. 2olling Place.
1. Residence of Mrs. Powell, Lot 6, Kingston Road.
2. Town Hall, Picketing Village.
3. Residence of ~falter Nlcholson, Liverpool.
3A. Mills' Service Station, Lot 27, Kingston Road.
4. Residence of Mrs. George Toyne, Lot 32, Kingston Rd.
6. Temperance Hall, Klnsale.
7. ~Iunicipal Building, Brougham.
8. Public Library, Vfhltevale.
9. Basement of Zion United Church, 8th Concession, Lot ?.
10. masonic Hall, Claremont.
ll. Residence of J. 0. Spang, Lot 30, Concession 8.
3. The following named persons are hereby appointed Deputy Return-
lng Officers and Poll Clerks respectively, to conduct the poll for
the said election, each in the Polling Sub-division writ*en opposite
their respective names, that is to say:
