BY-LAW NO. 1578
By-law to appoint a Relief Officer for the Municipality of
the Township of Pickering, for the year 1942.
The Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering Enacts
As Follows:

That Mr. Cyril Morley be and he is hereby appointed
Relief Officer for the said Municipality for the year
1942.
That the duties of the said Relief Officer shall be
all those prescribed and required by regulations of the
Relief Department of Ontario and by Order-In-Council
of the Ontario Government, including keeping all relief
records and making all required returns to the Relief
Department doing all the necessary clerical work found
necessary or called for by the said Department, or by
this Council.
That the said Relief Officer shall be paid for his
said services a yearly salary of $100.00, and the same
shall be payable yearly.
