W~R~AS the Council of The Co~poxation of the
Township of Pickexlng deems it desirable to ~..e~nd the
provisions of By-laws 1978, 2511, 2520, 3036 and 3037 as
amended, pursuant to the provisions of The Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1960, Section 30, as amended.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUHiIL OF T~ COR~ORATDN OF
TH~ TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
A TEXT AM~ND~NTS
That By-law 1978 be and the same is hexeby
amended as fellows:
I That subsection 5.12 be and the same is hereby
amended by adding aftex the words "lubricants and automobile
accessories", the we/ds
'~but shall not include a gas bar or any gasoline
outlet not having, as an integral pair thereof
and contained within an enclosed building, minimum
facilities to include a ss/es officej two enclosed
service bays and one hydraulic hoist."
2 That section 5 be amended by adding thereto the
following new subsection:
5.20.1 "Livestock" shall include cattle, swine,
sheep, goats, live poultry, hoxses, ponies,
donkeys and mules.
That subsection 5.15 be and the same is hereby
amended by adding after the words "or cleaning motor
vehicles" the words
"bu~ shall not include a gas bar or any gasoline
outlet not having, as an integral part thereof and
contained within an enclosed building, minimum
facilities to include a sales officej two enclosed
sexvlce bays and one hydraulic hoist."
4 That subsection 8.2.1.2 be and the same is hereby
amended by deleting thexefzom the words "Filling stations
and public garages and" in the second sentence, so that said
sentence shall now read as follows:
"Public parking areas excep~ on property 300 feet

amended by deleting in the first paragraph thereof, the

puzposes", so that said paragraph shall now read as follows:

Industrial and manufacturing purposes of all kinds,
eXcept a filling station or public garage, provided
such industIial and manufacturing purposes are not
objectionable by reason of emission of dust, smoke
or fumes, undue noise or by reason of danger and
shall include the following:

B TEXT AMBBDMENT$
That By-law 2511 be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
I That subsection 2.5 be and the same is hereby
amended by adding after the words "are eXecuted or
performed", the words

2 That section 2 be amended by adding thereto the

3 That subsection 5.6 be and the same is hereby
deleted and the following inserted therefor:
5.6 FRONTAGE ON A STREET
~tw~thstanding any other provisions in this by-
law, no person shall hereafter erect ox use any
building or structure on a lot which does not
front on an opened public street maintained at
public expense.
4 That section 5 be amended by adding thereto the
following new subsect ion:
5.26 P~OHIB ITED USBS
The keeping of livestock shall be prohibited in any
~one, except on Agricultuzally 'A' zoned parcels of
land of more than fi~;e acres in size. This shall
not p/ohibit the keeping of domestic pets.
5 That subsection 16.1.2 be and the same is hereby
amended by deleting the/efrom the words "automobile service
stat ions".
C TEXT AMBNDMBNIS
That By-law 2520 be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
i That subsection 2°5 be and the same is hereby amended
by adding after the wo/ds "are executed or performed", the
words

following new subsect ion:

donkeys and mules.

deleted and the following inserted therefor:
