249, Seetio~. 401, paragraph l] as amended, the Corporation
of the Township of Pickeri~g has authority to lice,~se, regulate
and govern vehicles fro~ wh~ ch refreslnmemts are sold for
consumption by the public a~d for revok~mE any such licemces.
NOW THt~R~:FORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATIOI'! 0F THE
TOW~SHIP OF PICKERIWG ENACTS AS FOLI,0WS:

Township of P~cker~ng for the purpose of selling
refresh~ents from a vehicle without first obta~ing
a licence for s~ch vehicle under the prow;.sions of
this By-] aw.
2. The fees for a ]~cence under th~s By-law shall be:
$~O.00 for each separate vehicle.
3. (a) A licence issus, d under th~s By-law is valid
only from the date of its ~ssue to December
31st of the year of its issue and is not
transferable.
(b) A ii.canoe is subject to revocation by the
Council of the Township of Pickeri~g at any
t~me for non compliance with the ?revisions of
this By-law or non compliance with such regu] a-
t~oms as may be passed by the Council fror~
to time or by the ~edical 0ff~cer of Health.
4. A licence shall only be issued after favourable
recommendation by the Medical Officer of Health.
~. No vehicle shall, for the purpose of selling
refresh~lents, park withim ~00 feet of a lt~mch counter,
snack bar or refresbament booth licensed by the
Townehip of P~cker~ng.
6. An application for a licence shall be made to the
Municipal Law E~foroement Off~eer o.~. the appropriate
form an5 tho necessary fee shall be pa~d to the
Treas~rer of the said Corporation.
7. Every person who is l~censed to operate a refreshment
vehicle shall receive with each licemce a metal, plate
issued by the Township of Picketing, bear~n~ an
identify~n~ number and shall at all t~mes keep such
plate securely an~ prom~e~tly affixed to the outside
of~hic~.e ~n respect of w~ch sa~e was iss,~e~. The
o~er ~f a refres~ant vehicle shal~, at
wh~]e the vehicle ~s being used as such, keep ~m the
vehicle the license issued therefor by the To~ship
of Pi cker~ ~g
8. ~y persom who contravenes ~y provision of this by-law
shall upon conviction be liable to a penalty
exceeding $~00.00 exclusive of costs, recoverable umder
