BEING A DY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 3494;
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town-
ship of Pickerlng deems it desirable to amend the
provisions of By-law Number 3494;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of
the Township of Picketing ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
A. TEXT AMENDMENTS
1. That Section 12.5.1(a) of Section A1 of
By-law 3494 be and the same is hereby
deleted and the following inserted there-
fore:
12.5.1(a) Lot Lines
No Gravel Pit or Quarry operation
shall be opened, established or
enlarged so as to be closer to any
lot line than 50 feet in horizontal
distance; provided, however, that
where a lot line or part thereof
abuts another lot zoned for Pit or
Quarry use, upon the written consent
of the owners of the said abutting
lots, then the gravel pit or quarry
operation may be carried on up to
such lot line or part thereof;
2. That Section 12.5.1(c) of Section A1 of
By-law 3494 be and the same is hereby
deleted and the following inserted there-
fore:
12.5.1(c)Abutting Residential Dwellings
or Residentially Zoned Land
No Gravel Pit or Quarry ooeration
shall be opened, established, or
enlarged so as to be closer to any
existing residential dwelling or
existing residentially zoned land,
than 200 feet in horizontal distance,
but in no case shall the setback
from the lot line be lese than 50
feet in horizontal distance;
B. That By-law Number 3494 be and the same is
hereby ~epealed and amended only to the extent
necessary to give effect to the provisions of
this By-law.
C. No part of this By-law shall come into force
without the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board, but subject to such approval, the By-law
shall take effect from the day of passing
thereof.
