A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to convey the
westerly half of the road allowance
between Lots 14 and 15, Conc. 8.
WHEREAS the road allowance between Lots 14 and 15,
Concession 8 was closed and conveyed to Thomas Morgan
Evans by the Township as authorized by Township By-law
1421 and confirmed by Ontario County By-law 1270;
AND WHEREAS the conveyance required Thomas Morgan
Evans to convey the Westerly part of the road allowance
to the owner of the lands to the West in accordance
with the fence line;
AND WHEREAS the conveyance was never completed by
the said Thomas Morgan Evans;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the Council of the
Township of Pickering accept a conveyance to the
Westerly part of the road allowance between Lots 14
and 15, Concession 8 and reconvey same to the owner
of the lands immediately adjacent and Westerly to the
said road allowance namely Whitehall Development
Corporation Limited;
AND FURTHER, that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized
to execute the said deed.
