A By-Law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to establish
a Community Centre in Pickering
Township.
WHEREAS provision is made for the establishment of a
Community Centre in Ontario under the Community Centres Act,
1960;
AND WHEREAS it is desired to establish a Community
Centre at Dillingham Road and Quigley Street in the Township
of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS the said Community Centre will be called
the Donald Beer Sports Arena;
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That a Community Centre defined as an Indoor Ice Arena
under the Community Centres Act, 1960, and the regulations
thereunder, be established at Dillingham Road and Quigley
Street in Part N21 Lot 19, B. F. R. 3 of the Township of
Pickering, and further that the said Community Centre be
administered by the Council of the Township of Pickering.
2. That the said Community Centre shall be maintained as a
Community Centre by the Council in conformity with the
Act and regulations made thereunder.
3. That By-Law 3859/70 is hereby repealed.
