BY-LAW NUMBER
A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to amend the
name of the Rouge Hills Community
Centre to "The East Woodlands
Community Centre".
WHEREAS on April 20, 1959, the Council of the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering passed By-Law No. 2398 which
established the "Rouge Hills Community Park Board";
AND WHEREAS Council by By-law 2904 deemed it desirable to
repeal By-law 2398 and establish "The Rouge Hills Community
Centre Hall" on part of the same lands;
AND M EREAS the area residents have expressed a desire to
have the name of their community centre established as "The
East Woodlands Community Centre";
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Township of Pickering that the Rouge Hills Community Centre
be renamed "The East Woodlands Community Centre Athletic
Field aMINNNEW".
By-law #2904 be and the same is hereby repealed.
