Being a by-law to authorize the
execution of an Offer to Purchase
between Edward Arthur Paulger,
Thomas Wills Paulger and John
Carroll Paulger and the Township
of Pickering.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering deems it necessary to acquire certain lands for
the purpose of constructing a link road in the Martin
Subdivision;
AND WHEREAS Council authorized by Resolution 279/70, the
negotiations to acquire 1.5 acres from Paulger Brothers;
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to execute and
Offer to Purchase between Edward Arthur Paulger,
Thomas Wills Paulger and John Carroll Paulger for 1.5
acres of land for the purpose of a link road at the
price per acre of $6,000.00.
Read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED in open
Council this i-L_day of_ 1970.
