A By-law of the Corporation of the Town-
ship of Pickering imposing a special
drainage rate on part of NI-2 Lot 23 in
Concession 7
WHEREAS Aubrey Carson, the owner of part of NZ Lot twenty-
three (23) in the Seventh Concession of the Township of
Pickering, applied to the Council of the Township of Pickering
under the Tile Drainage Act for a loan for the purpose of
draining said land;
AND WHEREAS Council by Resolution 196/70 loaned
Aubrey Carson the sum of $3,000.00 to be repaid with interest
by means of the rate hereinafter imposed;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Township of Pickering that an annual rate of $369.90 is here-
by imposed upon such land for a period of ten (10) years,
such rate to be levied and collected at the same time and
manner as other property taxes.
