BY-LAW NUMBER 38.3
A By-law to repeal certain redundant
regulatory by-laws of the Township
of Pickering.
WHEREAS By-law 1557, a by-law to regulate and
govern transient traders does not appear to have any
function;
AND WHEREAS By-law 1911, a By-law to regulate
the use of tents within the Municipality; and further,
no regulatory authority as set out in the By-law is
provided for in the Municipal Act;
AND WHEREAS By-law 2045, a By-law to regulate
the composition of well and cistern tops is adequately
covered by By-law 2444;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that whereas By-laws
1557, 1911 and 2045 are considered redundant, be and
the same are hereby repealed.
By-Law read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED,
this 15th day of June , 1970.
