A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint members
to the Township of Pickering Public
Library Board, and to repeal By-law
Number 3759/70.
WHEREAS The Public Libraries Act, 1966, under Section 5, Subsection 2,
provides for the appointment of members to a Public Library Board;
AND WHEREAS By-Law 3218 of the Township of Pickering created a public
library for the whole Township;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the following persons shall comprise
the Library Board of the Township of Pickering and shall serve for
the term indicated.
1. The following member is hereby appointed for the period indicated:
Mrs. J. Mooney
to January 1, 1971 (Separate School)
2. The following shall continue as members for the periods indicated.
Mr. D. Kitchen to January 1, 1973 (Council)
Mrs. Milton J. Mowbray to January 1, 1972 (Council)
Mrs. N. Rowan to January 1, 1972 (Public School)
Mr. J. C. Weber to January 1, 1972 (Council)
Mrs. E. B. Phin to January 19 1972 (Public School)
Mrs. E. Walcott to January 1, 1971 (Separate School)
Mr. Alban C. Ward to January 11 1972 (Public School)
Mr. John G. Spragge to January 1, 1972 (Council)
By-Law Number 3759/70 be and the same is hereby repealed.
