A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint
members to the Township of Pickering
Public Library Hoard, and to repeal
By-law ;dumber 3975/71.
WHEREAS The Public Libraries Act, 1966, under Section 5, Subsection
2, provides for the appointment of members to a Public Library
Board:
AND WHEREAS By-law 3218 of the Township of Pickering created a
public library for the whole Township,,
BE IT THEREFORE 6JACTED that the following persons shall comprise
the Library Board of the Township of Pickering and shall serve
for the term indicated.
1. The following member is hereby appointed for the
period indicated:
14R, blfAl CaHT9S to December 31, 1971 (Council)
2. The following shall continue as members for the periods
indicated:
Mrs. J. Mooney to December 31, 1972 (Separate School)
Mrs. E. Walcott to December 31, 1972 (Separate School)
Mr. E. P. McCormick to December 31, 1971 (Public School)
Mr. D. Kitchen to December 31, 1971 (Council)
Mrs. Milton Mowbray to December 31, 1971 (Council)
Mrs. N. Rowan to December 31, 1971 (Public School)
Mrs. E. B. Phin to December 31, 1971 (Public School)
Mr. John G. Spragge to December 31, 1971 (Council)
By-law Number 3975/71 be and the same is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and Passed in open
Council this day of 1971.
