A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint
members to the Township of Pickering
Public Library Loard, and to repeal
By-Law Number 3956/71.
WHEREAS The Public Libraries Act, 1966, under Section 5, Subsection
2, provides for the appointment of members to a Public Library
Board;
AND WHEREAS By-law 3218 of the Township of Pickering created a
public library for the whole Township,
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the following persons shall comprise
the Library Board of the Township of Pickering and shall serve for
the term indicated.
1. The following members are hereby appointed for the period
indicated:
Mrs. J. Mooney to December 31, 1972 (Separate School)
Mrs. E. Walcott to December 31, 1972 (Separate School)
Mr. E. P. McCormick to December 31, 1971 (Public School)
2. The following shall continue as members for the periods
indicated:
Mr. D. Kitchen to December 31, 1971 (Council)
Mrs. Milton Mowbray to December 31, 1971 (Council)
Mrs. Id. Rowan to December 31, 1971 (Public School)
Mr. J. C. Weber to December 31, 1971 (Council)
Mrs. E. B. Phin to December 31, 1971 (Public School)
Mr. John G. Spragge to December 31, 1971 (Council)
By-Law Number 3956/71 be and the same is hereby repealed.
By-Law read a first, second and third time and Passed in open
