HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3935/71? ? 311 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP 0 PICKERING WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Pickering deems it desirable to amend the provisions of By-law 2511, as amended, pursuant to the provisions of section 30 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1960, as amended, to permit the construction of three service stations on industrially zoned lands; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: A TEXT AMENDMENT 1. Sub-section 16.3 of section 16 of By-law 2511, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following exemptions: BY-LAW NUMBER being a by-law to amend By-law 2511 to permit three automobile service stations. 16.1.2 Notiithstanding the provisions of sub-section 16.1.2, as amended, an automobile service station may be constructed on that part of Lot 18 in Range 3 at the south-east corner of Brock Road and Bayly Street designated as "M1- Specific" on the plan annexed hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law. 16.3.3 Notwithstanding the provisions of section 16.1.2, as amended, an automobile service station may be constructed on that part of Lot 19 in Range 3 at the south-zest corner of Brock Road and Bayly Street designated as "M1 - Specific" on the plan annexed hereto as Schedule "All and forming part of this by-law. - 2 - 16.3.4 Notwithstanding the provisions of section 16.1.2, as amended, an automobile service station may be constructed on that part of Lot 19 in Concession 1 at the north-west corner of Brock Road and Bayly Street designated as "M1 - Specific" on the plan annexed hereto as Schedule "A" and forming part of this by-law. B. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT 1. Schedule "A" of By-law 2511, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by altering the Boni designations for the lands designated as "M1 - Specific" in Lot 18, Range 3, Lot 19 Range 3 and Lot 19 Concession 1 respectively on Schedule "A" annexed hereto and forming part of this by=law from "M1" to "M1 - Specific". C. GENERAL 1. By-law 2511 t.e and the same is hereby amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this by-law. 2. No part of this by-law shall come into force without the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board but subject to such approval, this by-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof.
