HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4477/73 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. -73 Being a restricted area by-law to implement the Official Plan of the Township of Pickering in Part of Lot 19, Concession 1, Township of Pickering. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering enacts as follows: SECTION 1: SCHEDULES Schedules "A", "B" and "C" hereto with notations and references shown thereon are hereby declared to be part of this by-law and are described as follows: Schedule "A" Highway 02 - Brock Zoning Map Schedule "B" Standards & Provisions Schedule "C" Building & Structure Set-back Provisions SECTION 2: AREA RESTRICTED The provisions of this by-law shall apply to all lands enclosed by heavy black line on Schedule "A" hereto. SECTION 3: GENERAL PROHIBITION No building or land shall hereafter be used or occupied, no building or part thereof, shall be erected, moved or structurally altered except in conformity with the provisions of this by-law. SECTION 4: DEFINITIONS "Building Height" shall mean the vertical distance measured in eet or storeys from the established grade to the highest point of the roof surface. "Business & Professional Office" shall mean any building or part of a building used for the clerical function of an enterprise and/or the practise of a profession. "Coverage" shall mean the percentage of lot area covered by all buildings. "Gross Floor Area" shall mean the total floor area of all floors including basements. "Parking Structure" shall mean a building for the temporary storage of one or more vehicles accessory or incidental to the use provided for in a particular zone. "Storey" shall mean that portion of a building (including a asement which is less than 50% below ground level) between the surface of any floor and the surface of the floor, roof deck or ridge above it. SECTION 8: EFFECTIVE DATE This By-law shall come into force and take effect upon being passed by Council subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
