The attached Maps designated Schedules "ATT "B" and "C" and
explanatory text, Constituting Amendment No. to the Official
Plan of the Township of Pickering Planning Area was prepared
by the Township of Pickering Planning Board and was recommended
to the Council of the Township of Pickering under the
provisions of Sections 12 and 17 of the Planning Act, 1970, on the
15th day of March, 1973•

This Amendment was adopted by the Council of the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering by By-law Number 6f/ in
accordance with Sections 13 and 17 of the Planning Act, 1970 on
the t-iday of 1973.

This Amendment to the Official Plan of the Township of Pickering
Planning Area which has been recommended by the Township of
Pickering Planning Board and adopted by the Council of the
Township of Pickering, is hereby approved in accordance with
Sections lQ and 17 of the Planning Act, 1970, as Amendment No.
to the Official Plan of the Township of Pickering Planning Area.

being a by-law to adopt Amendment No. of the
Official Plan for the Township of Pickering Planning
Area.
WHEREAS an Official Plan for the Township of Pickering
Planning Area has been prepared by the Township of Pickering
Planning Board in accordance with Section 12 of The Planning
Act, 1970.
AND WHEREAS the Township of Pickering Planning Board
passed a resolution on the 15th day of March, 1973, recommending
to Council that said Official Plan be amended in accord with the
provisions of The Planning Act, 1970.
AND WHEREAS Council has examined the Amendment No.
of the said Official Plan and it is deemed expedient to adopt
same;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That the said Amendment No. of the Township
of Pickering Official Plan is hereby adopted and
recommended to the Treasurer of Ontario and Minister
of Economics and Intergovernmental Affairs for
approval.
