being a by-law to adopt Amendment No. ''j of the
Official Plan for the Township of Pickering Planning
Area.
WHEREAS an Official Plan for the Township of Pickering
Planning Area has been prepared by the Township of Pickering
Planning Board in accordance with Section 12 of The Planning Act,
1970.
AND WHEREAS the Township of Pickering Planning Board
passed a resolution on the 26th day of April, 1973, recommending
to Council that said Official Plan be amended in accord with the
provisions of The Planning Act, 1970.
AND WHEREAS Council has examined the Amendment No.
of the said Official Plan and it is deemed expedient to adopt
same;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That the said Amendment No. "J of the Township,
of Pickering Official Plan is hereby adopted and
recommended to the Treasurer of Ontario and Minister
of Economics and Intergovernmental Affairs for
approval.
