Being a bylaw to provide for the
sale of part of Lot 19 in Range 3,
Broken Front Concession of the
Township of Pickering to
Ron Hodge Welding.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering is the
owner in fee simple of the land and premises described in the
Township of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering entered
into an agreement of purchase and sale with Ron Hodge Welding to
purchase the land in Part Lot 19, in Range 3, Broken Front Concession
of the Township of Pickering shown on sketch plan attached hereto and
forming a part of this by-law, containing .92 acres for the sum of
$13,000.00 per acre.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That that part of Lot 19, in Range 3, Broken Front Concession of
the Township of Pickering as described in agreement of purchase
and sale dated June 27, 1973, be sold to Ron Hodge Welding in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the said
agreement of purchase and sale.
2. That the Reeve and the Acting Clerk of the Township of Pickering
be and are hereby authorized and instructed to execute, on behalf
of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, a deed of the
said lands to the said Ron Hodge Welding for the purpose of carrying
out the said sale and to affix thereto the Corporate Seal of the
Corporation.
