HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4392/73THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING 5 / S BY-LAW NUMBER /7/, Being a by-law to provide for the sale of Part of Lot 19, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, of the Township of Pickering to Sleepmaster Limited. WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering is the owner in fee simple of the land and premises described in the Township of Pickering; AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering entered into an agreement of purchase and sale with Sleepmaster Limited, to purchase the land in Part Lot 19, Range 3, Broken Front Concession, of the Township of Pickering shown on sketch plan attached hereto and forming a part of this by-law, containing 2-1/2 acres for the sum of $16,000.00 per acre. NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED: 1. That that part of Lot 19, Range 3, Broken Front Concession of the Township of Pickering as described in agreement of purchase and sale dated June 7th , 1973, be sold to Sleepmaster Limited in accordance with the terms and con- ditions contained in the said agreement of purchase and sale. 2. That the Reeve and the Acting Clerk of the Township of Pickering be and are hereby authorized and instructed to execute, on behalf of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, a deed of the said lands to the said Sleepmaster Limited for the purpose of carrying out the said sale and to affix thereto the Corporate Seal of the Corporation.
