HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4386/73 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 3 C 7.3 A by-law of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering to stop up and close a part of the road allowance in Lot 22, Concession 1 of the Township of Pickering. WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering proposes to stop up and close a part of road allowance in Lot 22, Concession 1 of the Township of Pickering as provided for under the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1970, Chap. 284, Sec. 443 (1) (c); AND WHEREAS the said road known as Industrial Road as shown as Parts 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 53, 57, 58, 59, 60, and 61 on Registered Plan 40R-923 is to be closed; AND WHEREAS an alternate road is to be constructed and dedicated to the municipality providing access to owners of abutting lands; AND WHEREAS the Township will retain a working easement over parts 28, 29 as shown on Registered Plan 40R-923; AND WHEREAS notice of this by-law has been published once a week for four consecutive weeks and posted up for one month in six of the most public places in the immediate neighbourhood of the said public highway; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: 1. The lands described as Parts 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 53, 57, 58, 59, 60, and 61 on Registered Plan 40R-923 as registered in the Registry Office of the County of Ontario are hereby stopped up and closed as a public highway.
