BY-LAW NUMBER 3 373
Being a by-law to provide for the
sale of part of Lot 18 in Range 3
of the Township of Pickering to
Orangebrook Developments Limited
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering is the
owner in fee simple of the land and premises described in
the Township of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering
entered into an agreement of purchase and sale with Orangebrook
Developments Limited to purchase the land in Lot 18, in
Range 3 of the Township of Pickering shown on Sketch
Plan attached hereto and forming a part of this by-law,
containing 30 acres more or less for the sum of $12,000.00
per acre.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That that part of Lot 18 in Range 3 of the Township of
Pickering as described in agreement of purchase and
sale dated February 2nd, 1973, be sold to Orangebrook
Developments Limited in accordance with the terms and
conditions contained in the said agreement of purchase
and sale.
2. That the Reeve and Clerk of the Township of Pickering
be and are hereby authorized and instructed to execute
on behalf of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering, a deed of the said lands to the said
Orangebrook Developments Limited for the purpose of
carrying out the said sale and to affix thereto the
Corporate seal of the Corporation.
Read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED in open Council
