Being a by-law to enter into an
agreement between J.D,S. Investments
Limited, Odeon Theatres (Canada)
Limited, and the Township of
Pickering.
WHEREAS J.D.S. Investments Limited is constructing a
Shopping Centre on property adjacent to property owned
and controlled by Odeon Theatres (Canada) Ltd. and the
Township of Pickering in Part Lot 21, Concession 1;
AND WHEREAS J.D.S. Investments Limited have requested
that Odeon Theatres (Canada) Limited and the Township of
Pickering convey to it certain lands owned by both Odeon
Theatres (Canada) Limited and the Township of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS Odeon Theatres (Canada) Limited and the
Township of Pickering have agreed to the exchange of land
as requested by J.D.S. Investments Limited;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Township of Pickering
enter into an agreement for the exchange of land and
dedication of certain road allowances between J.D.S.
Investments Limited, Odeon Theatres (Canada) Limited
and the Township of Pickering, and that the Reeve and
Clerk be authorized to execute the said agreement.
