BY-LAW NUMBER 3--
Being a by-law to provide for
the sale of part of Lot 19 in
Range 3 of the Township of
Pickering to Fred LaFontaine.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering is
the owner in fee simple of the land and premises
described in the Township of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering
entered into an agreement of purchase and sale with
Fred LaFontaine to purchase the land in Lot 19, in
Range 3 of the Township of Pickering designated as Part
3 on Reference Plan RD-366 containing 2.144 acres
for the sum of $12,000.00 per acre.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That that part of Lot 19 in Range 3 of the Township
of Pickering as described in agreement of purchase
and sale dated March 2nd, 1973, be sold to Fred
LaFontaine in accordance with the terms and con-
ditions contained in the said agreement of Purchase
and Sale.
2. That the Reeve and the Clerk of the Township of
Pickering be and are hereby authorized and instructed
to execute, on behalf of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering a deed of the said lands to
the said Fred LaFontaine for the purpose of
carrying out the said sale and to affix thereto
the Corporate seal of the Corporation.
Read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED in open
Council this day of 1973.
