Being a by-law to the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering to
authorize the execution of a
release.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering and Alan
Wilcox in consideration of other good and valuable consideration
and the sum of two dollars have agreed to release and forever
discharge each other of and from all manner of actions;
AND WHEREAS it will be necessary for the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to execute a mutual release, releasing
the Township from any claim by reason of action No. 216/72
in the Supreme Court of Ontario and by reason of any claim on
the Community Centre (West Rouge Community Centre);
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized
to execute the Mutual Release dated the 14th day of February,
1973.
By-law read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED, this
a-rK day of 1973.
