Being a by-law to provide for the
sale of part of Lot 19 in Range 3
of the Township of Pickering to
Waterhouse and May Ltd.
:REAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering is the owner
fee simple of the land and premises described in the Township
Pickering;
J WHEREAS the Corporation of the Township of Pickering entered
to an agreement of purchase and sale with Waterhouse and May Ltd.
purchase the land in Lot 19 in Range 3 of the Township of
:kering designated as PART 1 on reference plan 40R-847 containing
37 acres for the sum of $12,500.00 per acre.
J THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
That that part of Lot 19 in Range 3 of the Township of
Pickering as described in agreement of purchase and sale
dated December 5th, 1972, be sold to Waterhouse and May Ltd.
in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the
said agreement of purchase and sale.
That the Reeve and the Clerk of the Township of Pickering be
and are hereby authorized and instructed to execute, on
behalf of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, a
deed of the said lands to the said Waterhouse and May Ltd.
for the purpose of carrying out the said sale and to affix
thereto the Corporate seal of the Corporation.
