A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint a
Township Solicitor
WHEREAS R.S.O. 1970 C. 284, Section 352, Subsection 63
authorizes the appointment of certain officers for the
purpose of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient and desirable to
establish the position of Township Solicitor;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Township of Pickering that:
1. John Robert Boxma, LL.B., LL.M., be and he is hereby
appointed Township Solicitor for the Township of
Pickering and shall commence his duties January 3,
1973.
2. The duties of the said Township Solicitor shall be
those as defined in the pertaining job description
and from time to time by the Township Manager.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in
