BY-LAW NUMBER 1/-1.-Z
Being a by-law of the
Township of Pickering to
authorize the Reeve and Clerk
to enter into an agreement with
Runnymede Development Corporation.
WHEREAS the Township is desirous of obtaining a conveyance
of certain lands in parts of Lots 17 and 18, Concession 1,
Township of Pickering for purposes of constructing an
industrial spur line by the Canadian National Railways;
AND WHEREAS the lands required for said spur line are owned
by Runnymede Development Co. Ltd;
A14D WHEREAS it is agreed that Runnymede will convey said
lands as outlined in a plan prepared by Edwards and Gunn,
Ltd. O.L.S., reference #71-1350 and 71-1350-1 to the
Township on conditions as set out in the agreement dated
the 31st day of August, 1972;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Reeve and Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said agreement.
