BY-LAW NUMBER 1?2
A By-law to authorize and execute
an agreement between the Township
of Pickering and Her Majesty the
Queen in right of the Province of
Ontario as represented by the
Minister of Transportation and
Communications.
WHEREAS the Department proposes to construct storm drainage facilities
on controlled access Highway No. 401 from a point west of Brock Road
to an outlet in Duffins Creek Valley, Township of Pickering, County
of Ontario.
AND WHEREAS the Township have requested the Department to construct the
storm drainage facilities of a size to accommodate the storm drainage
of 59.2 acres of land located in the northwest quadrant of the
intersection of Brock Road and C.A.H. No. 401 and being part of
Lot 19, Conc. 1, Township of Pickering.
AND WHEREAS the Department shall construct a storm sewer system
in accordance to the terms as set in the agreement attached hereto
as Schedule "A" to this by-law.
NOW THEREFORE be it enacted that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized
to execute the agreement.

9. That the Township warrants that it has done all acts, pasced all by-laws
and obtained all approvals necessary to empower the Township to
enter into this agreement.
