THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
Being a By-law to establish a
Community Centre in the
Township of Pickering
WHEREAS provision is made for the establishment of a Community
Centre in Ontario under the Community Centres Act R.S.O. 1970
Chapter 73 Section 4 (1).
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering deem it
desirable to establish a Community Centre in part of Lot 29
B.F. Range 3 of the Township of Pickering.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering have entered
into an agreement with MTRCA for the use of their lands for purposes
of developing an athletic field
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering enacts
as follows:
(1) That a Community Centre defined as an
Athletic Field under the Community Centres
Act, R.S.O. 1970 and regulations thereunder
be established in part Lot 29 S.F.R. 3 of
the Township of Pickering and that said
Athletic Field be administered by the Council
of the Township of Pickering
(2) That the Community Centre shall be
maintained as an Athletic Field by the
Council in conformity with the Act and
Regulations made thereunder
(3) That the said Community Centre will be
called the Dun-Moore Community Centre
(Athletic Field)

open Council.
