BY-LAW NUMBER
being a by-law to provide fox the
sale of part of Lot 19 in Range 3
of the Township of Pickering to
Henning O. Halvorsen and Alan Stagg
carrying on business under the firm
name and style of Providence Holdings.
WHEREAS The Corporation of the Township of Pickering is the
owner in fee simple of the lands and premises described in
the Township of 1ickering;
AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Township of Pickering
entered into agreement of purchase and sale with Henning
0. Halvorsen and Alan Stagg carrying on business under the
firm name and style of Providence Holdings to purchase the
land in Lot 19 in Range 3 of the Township of Pickering
designated as PART I on reference plan 40R-702 containing
0.993 acres for the sum of $10,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That that part of Lot 19 in Range 3 of the Township
of Pickering as described in agreement of purchase and sale
dated March 20th, 1972 be sold to Henning O. Halvorsen and
Alan Stagg carrying on business under the firm name and style
of Providence Holdings in accordance with the terms and
conditions contained in the said agreement of purchase and sale.
2. That the Reeve and the Clerk of the Township of
Pickering be and ate hereby authorized and instructed to
execute, on behalf of The Coxpc2ation of the Township of
Pickering, a deed of the said lands to the said Henning O.
Halvorsen and Alan Stagg carrying on business under the firm
name and style of Providence Holdings for the purpose of
carrying out the said sale and to affix thereto the Corporate

seal of the Coxpoxation.
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and passed
in open Council this day of 1972.
