A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to set the
remuneration for the Reeve, Deputy
Reeve and Councillors and to repeal
By-law Number 3804/70.
BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Pickering that:
1. The remuneration of the Reeve shall be $7,500.00
per annum, plus an allowance of $2,500.00 per annum
for expenses.
2. The remuneration of the Deputy Reeve shall be
$4,250.00 per annum.
3. The remuneration of Councillors shall be $3,500.00
per annum.

5.A. One-t9Wird of all remuneration and expenses paid
the Reeve, Deputy Reeve and Councillors,
Q48 I shall be deemed for
expenses incidental to the discharge of their
duties as elected officers of the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering.
This By-law shall become effective as of January 1, 1972.
Read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED in open
Council this Q & day of 1972.

4. The Deputy Reeve and Councillors shall also receive
15G (fifteen cents) for each mile necessarily
travelled in going to and coming from meetings
other than the normal meetings of Council and -'i
Committees and the cost of all telephone calls made
on Township business.
