Being a By-law to amend By-law
Number 3036 as amended.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering deems it desirable to amend the provisions
of By-law 3036 as amended, pursuant to the provisions of
The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970, Section 35, as amended:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
A. TEXT AMENDMENT
1. That Section 6.2 be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following new subsection:
6.2.2 LOTS IN PICKERING BEACH
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 6.2
and 6.2.1 no new dwelling unit will be permitted
to be erected on any lot in plans 250, 285, 372
380 and 392 in the Township of Pickering
without municipal water and sewers. However
this section shall not prevent the enlargement
or extension to any existing dwelling unit
or permitted accessory building located within
plans 250, 285, 372, 380 and 392 in
accordance with the requirements of the appropriate
zone designation.
B. That By-law 3036 be and the same is hereby amended only to
the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions
of this by-law.
C. No part of this by-law shall come into force without the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, but subject
to such approval, the By-law shall take effect from
the day of passing thereof.
