A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to appoint a
Planning Director for the Township
of Pickering.
WHEREAS R.S.O. 1970 C 284, Sect. 352, Sub. Sect. 63
authorized the appointment of certain officers for the purpose
of the Corporation;
AND WHEPEAS John Faulkner has tenderedtis resignation
as Planning Director of the Township of Pickering, and such
resignation has been accepted by Council effective March 31, 1972
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Township of Pickering that:
1. R. Derek Willis be and he is hereby appointed
Planning Director for the Township of Pickering and
shall commence his duties May 1, 1972.
2. The duties of the said Planning Director shall be
those as defined in the Planning Act and the
Municipal Act, as amended together with those duties
prescribed by Council.
3. By-law Number 2814 is hereby repealed.
