BY-LAW NUMBER 1?
A by-law to authorize the Reeve and
Clerk to execute a deed of land
transferred to Donald C. and Margaret E.
Holder? and the County of Ontario.
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering by
Resolution #354/71 agreed to reconvey a parcel of land
to Donald C. and Margaret E. Holder;
AND WHEREAS the said lands were deeded to the Township
as a condition of consent;
AND WHEREAS the said consent was not acted upon and
became null and void;
The Township Council agrees to the reconveyance of the
said parcel of land less that portion required for
future widening for the proposed Lawrence Avenue
extension.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Reeve and Clerk be
authorized to execute a deed of land conveying a
parcel of land 66 x 506 feet less that portion required
for future road widening, said portion to be conveyed
to the County of Ontario.
By-law read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED
this 4 day of hUAtkl , 1972.
