BY-LAW NUMBER
Being a by-law to raise a portion
of the costs of a project adopted
by The Metropolitan Toronto and
Region Conservation Authority levied
against the Municipality of the
Township of Pickering in subsequent
years.
BE IT HEREBY ENACTED as a by-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering by the Council thereof as follows:
1. That the proportion of the costs of a project for the
conservation, restoration, development and management
of the natural resources of the Lake Ontario waterfront,
adopted by The Metropolitan Toronto and Region
Conservation Authority as a Project Titled The Metropolitan
Toronto and Region Waterfront Plan 1972 - 1976,
levied against the Municipality in the sum of $108,370.45
be raised in equal annual instalments in the general
rate for the years 1972 to 1976 inclusive.
2. This by-law shall not take effect until the approval
of the Ontario Municipal board has been obtained.
By-law read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED in
