A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to authorize
the execution by the Reeve and Cleric
of an Acjree:uent Datween tha Victorian
Order of Nurses and the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering.
WHBREAS The Homemakers and Nurses Services Act, R.S.O.
1960, Chapter 173 as amended by 1968-1969 Chapter 46 and
regulations thereunder as amended provides that the council
of a Township may enter into agreement xyith any organization
-that is anoroved by the Minister under which the organization
undertakes to furnish Homemakers or Nurses, or both, for the
purposes of this Act.
iD '!HE".,2%S T47e Victorian Order of Nurses (South Ontario
County 3ranch) has agreed to provide Nurses Services under
the said Act.
rI0'%? THSRT:FOPS' the Municipal Council of the Township BNACTS
A3 FOLLOWS:
1. That the Township enter into an agreeui.ent with the
Victorian Order of Nurses (South Ontario County branch)
for tier to undertake to furnish .'+urses Services as
provided under the said Act and Pegulations, and that
the reeve and the Clerk he authorized to sign such
agreement on behalf of the Corporation.
By-Law 3951/71 'be and tiie samie is hereby repealed.
